Mission:
Our mission is to help people acquire the skills, knowledge, confidence and resources to lead local action and achieve constructive change in their communities.

Description of activities:
Allavida is an experienced international development organisation and grant-maker that offers a range of services to both larger and smaller funders, including:
Strategy and institutional design. Allavida helps funders to develop international funding strategies, and with creating or strengthening institutions.
Identifying recipients of funding or funding partners. Allavida helps funders to identify effective NGOs to support. We can undertake due diligence on funders' behalf. Monitoring, evaluation and grants management.
Programme design and development. Allavida supports funders in the design and development of specific operational and grants programmes to combat poverty.
Training for grantmakers and philanthropists.
Facilitating events for funders. Allavida organises and facilitates a wide range of events for funders to enhance their learning, interaction with grantees, wider networking, and charitable giving.
Research. Allavida conducts and publishes research on good development funding and practices.
